Chuck Hancock. M.Ed., LPC  guides people in all stages of  life. Away from the known, into the unknown space where new ways of being are discovered.  Dancing with the full spectrum of human experience inclusive of radical love, anger, acceptance, pain, fear, grief, stuckness, and joy he helps people reconnect to their heart, mind, body, and soul, in essence – their nature – our nature.  Chuck has worked in private practice, Colorado State University, Front Range Community College, Outward Bound, and with the UC Health Crisis Assessment Team.

Drawing from his experience as an initiated man in roles of father, son, brother, husband, mentor, mentee, psychotherapist, teacher and forever student of life he has learned how to partner with the wisdom of natural processes to empower people to  move forward with a more connected, fulfilled, life than ever before. In addition to his work as a professional therapist at Inner Life Adventures (www.innerlifeadventures.com), he is a father of two children and connects deeply with nature through mindful awareness, ritual, ceremony, and the simple things like camping, hiking, trail running, canoeing, meditation, yoga, and wanding off trail whenever possible.  Chuck has trained with School of Lost Borders to lead Rites of Passage and nature based ritual, is a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR), has over 10 years experience apprenticing with indigenous ceremony leaders for vision quest and sweat lodge and other ceremonies, and has extensive training and experience  guiding people in mindfulness, somatic, depth work, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. He is passionate about revitalizing intentional ceremony and is active with Youth Passageways and Wilderness Guides Council for ongoing mentorship and community.

Bettina’s passion for Rites of Passage work was born during her initiation into Womanhood at age 18, where a new way of experiencing life emerged. As a creative, and rooted guide, Bettina brings earth ceremony, body awareness and mindfulness to her work.  Originally from Germany she carries a deep passion and understanding for the wounds that help us find our true belonging. Bettina lives and works in a small community in the Rocky Mountains, supporting the culture and wellbeing of her work teams. She continues to learn from our diverse and human experiences, on this shared journey through life’s passages.
